Delicious Vegan Peanut Sauce Recipe
Let me start off by saying that ever since I was a kid, I have been a huge sucker for peanut butter and especially peanut sauce! Either over ‘meat’ balls, sprinkled over fried rice, used to make saté, top off a sandwhich, or served on the side with some kerupuk. Naturally, when I went vegan over 10 years ago, I wanted to find a way to make my own peanut sauce. And that I did.
Nowadays, I can’t imagine ever going back to these ready-made peanut sauce packages from the store. It is so quick and easy to make, and far more delicious. And by now, even my friends and family get excited instantly just by the smell!
This recipe is something I have developed and finetuned over the years, and it is definitely one of my favorites! I make a portion at least once a week, and store it in the fridge for quick access.
