Our Story
We’re Elea & Daan, a Swiss and Dutch couple with a shared love for adventure, hiking, vegan food, and exploring the world with backpacks and open hearts.
Our story began in Vietnam, where two solo travelers met by chance on the road through Asia. What started with shared street food and long bus rides turned into countless journeys together, from hidden mountain trails to buzzing city streets.
Hey, I am Elea
I’m the 23-year-old Swiss half of this adventure duo. Currently deep into my tourism studies, I’m the ultimate itinerary planner, spreadsheets and maps are my love language (spontaneous detours are welcome too!).
Hiking is my happy place, whether it’s conquering mountains abroad at dawn or just alpine trails back home. Catch me doing pilates at sunrise, cuddling my cat back home or any friendly cats abroad I meet on the road (they’re my soulmates), trying out new sports (Daan and I are planning a Hyrox challenge!), or raiding the vegan chocolate aisle, dark chocolate with sea salt, hazelnut praline, you name it, I devour it. Solo backpacking Asia for 5 months was my wildest chapter (Vietnam was where I met Daan!), but snakes? Hard pass, those slithery creeps send me running.

Hey, my name is Daan
And I’m the 30-year-old Dutch half of this adventure duo. I’m a cooking enthusiast who whips up vegan masterpieces like my killer vegan lasagna (seriously, it’s my specialty and favorite dish).
My day always starts with a berry smoothie for breakfast, blended fresh wherever we can find them. You’ll find me doing calisthenics everywhere I go (pull-ups on playgrounds count as travel training!), conquering hikes from coastal paths to mountain summits, or raiding shops for Zweifel chips (best chips ever). I solo backpacked Southeast Asia for 5 months before meeting Elea in Vietnam.
